Play together on one iPhone. Versus is local multiplayer; you don’t need an account or an online opponent.
10 games are always free. The other 40 share 3 free plays each day, resetting at local midnight.
The optional Versus Pass is a one-time in-app purchase for unlimited access to all games. No subscription or ads.
The 40 Pass games share one daily allowance of 3 plays. A play is counted when a match finishes, or when you quit, restart, or put the app in the background after at least 45 seconds of active play. Active play time carries across short restarts. A rematch starts another match and can use another play.
After the third play, those games lock until the next local calendar day. The 10 always-free games stay available. Free plays reset at local midnight; setting the clock back to an earlier day does not replenish them.
The Pass unlocks unlimited play across all 50 games and the full Gauntlet. It is a non-consumable, one-time purchase through Apple’s App Store, not a subscription. The price is shown in the app before you purchase.
Use the Apple Account that made the purchase, open Versus, go to Settings, and tap Restore purchase. You can also restore from the Pass screen. An internet connection is needed to check with the App Store.
If it still does not appear, email us with the message shown in the app. Please never send your Apple Account password or payment-card details.
A pending purchase may be waiting for approval through Apple’s Ask to Buy. If the store is unavailable, check your internet connection and try again. The 10 always-free games remain available while the store is unavailable.
Apple handles billing and refund requests. You can review eligible purchases at Apple’s Report a Problem page.
The games run locally on your iPhone and do not require an online multiplayer service. Buying or restoring the Pass requires access to the App Store.
In Settings, use Reset record to clear wins and play counts. Your favorites are kept. Player names can be changed in Settings, and favorites can be changed in the game library.
Deleting the app removes its local data from that installation. Offloading the app keeps its documents and data. Device backups may retain or restore app data depending on your Apple settings. Deleting Versus does not cancel or erase an Apple purchase. See our Privacy Policy for more.
